Clearwire launches WiMAX laptop card

Clearwire has lauched a WiMAX laptop card in the markets where it is rolling out its WiMAX service.

The card costs $80 as part of a two year contract to Clearwire's service which costs $60 per month for downlink speeds of up to 1.5 MBPS.

The card was due to launch in August, but even with a delay of a few weeks, Clearwire has still stolen a march on Sprint's rival service.
